Are people at peace with 'where they are at' spiritually?
The new year of 2010
It's crazy how fast time goes and you don't end up doing half the things you think you want too!!
Nevertheless, have put up a new question - I'm keen for some thoughts, feeling quite stale in the spiritual pondering lately. Have just been cruising and enjoying life ( which is also good - don't get me wrong!)
Hope you have started the year well everyone!

what is hell?
Hey everyone,
so I have a question...
what do we think hell is, do you think it is an actual place or just figurative or what? this is not really a blog but more of a question and converstation starter...
Hmmm.... I've heard a few different theories on this one.
I haven't spent much time trying to work this one out lately. But definately as I tend towards seeing christianity as less of an 'in' or 'out' thing the less it seems to fit that Hell is an actual place.
Plus I just can't really digest a God who has supposedly created these beings and wants to bring them all to be with him to just be like oh well you made a wrong choice you're off to eternal damnation! Surely there would be a greater scheme of things where if the whole world is being made anew then the people would also be made new???
Not sure. I remember someone proposing that Hell is not a place but merely that we inheret our own personalities / characters and so if we are rotten people here on earth we will also have that after death in a different form and maybe not experience the joy that we potentially could...
not sure but it's a great question!any other ideas out there?
I am not sure about the whole hell thing and how it works. I definately struggle with the idea that God would just send people off to a place that is horrible to be tormented etc etc. One theory that I have heard is that hell rather than being a confined area/place, it is more the absence of God and that in itself is hell.
And if there is such a place as hell - is that the last chance or will eventually all things be redeemed including everyone and everything in it ( hell) if it exists???
Welcome everyone to this little blog we have going!
It really is a communal blog more than anything - a place to explore ideas that people having been mulling over and get some more opinions on things!
We really want it to be a place that people feel they can contribute as much as they want from a simple comment on a post or writing up an original post that will start off some discussion.
Feel free to invite others that you feel may benefit or want to be part of this kind of thing.
And please please please... just write something so we know you're there reading and thinking! :-)
It's a work in progress so chuck any ideas out there, if you have some that you think might help make this thing fly!
